Aquaculture Specialities has over 25 years of professional experience in the field of Aquaculture, focusing on importing and distributing Aquaculture & Aquarium feeds and supplies across India.

Inspired by the Athmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, an initiative by the Government of India to promote self-reliance, we decided to establish a feed mill and manufacture shrimp larval, fish Larval & aquarium feeds locally, rather than importing.

India, with its vast coastal area, is a major exporter of raw materials & ingredients to feed mills worldwide. However, due to a lack of production techniques, we have had to import the feeds at a much higher cost. This led us to consider manufacturing them locally using the available inputs.

The trial production of formulated flake feed from indigenous Artemia biomass has allowed us to process and store abundant seasonal Artemia biomass for year-round usage. This has gained momentum in the aquaculture and aquarium industry in successful farming. Additionally, it has created employment opportunities for women in self-help groups, transforming naturally available sources into a commercial product.
